The Indian government is setting up a new category called the “Golden City Club” to recognize cities that consistently rank among the cleanest in the nation. This move comes as Indore secures the title of India’s cleanest city for the seventh year in a row. This new category will keep the winning city aside and consider the next one on the list for the golden city club, thus creating a different competition to enter this club. The new club aims to encourage competition and maintain high standards of cleanliness across various cities.
