HPSC Assistant Professor 2024 Application Link has been released. A total of 2424 vacancies have been announced. Interested candidates can apply online from 7th to 27th August 2024. The HPSC Assistant Professor exam is conducted by the Haryana Public Service Commission to recruit eligible candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in various subjects.

for Environmental Science
Eligibility:
(a) Good academic record with a Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an
equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed)
in a concerned/ relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an
equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
(b) Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard or in Higher
Education.
(c) A. The National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants
Commission (UGC) or a similar test accredited by the IJGC, like SLET/SET or who
are or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the
University Grant Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for
Award of M.Phil / Ph.D Degree) Regulation, 2009 or 2016 and their
amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from
NET/SLET/SET.

Scheme of Examination
- Screening Test
a) Total number of MCQs: 100
b) Time duration of the exam: 02 hours
c) Total Marks: 100
d) All questions cany equal marks.
e) Each question will have five options (A, B, C, D and E). If a
candidate is attempting a question, she/he shall have to darken the
appropriate circle A, B, C or D and if not attempting a question
then, she/he shall have to darken E circle. Ifnone ofthe five circles
is darkened, one fourth (0.25) mark shall be deducted.
f) Any candidate not darkening any of the five circles in more than
10% questions shall be disqualified.
g) One-fourth mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
h) Paper Language: only english
i) Syllabus: Same as UGC NET
Candidates four times (Total 28) the numbers of advertised posts, including
bracketed candidates if any, will be called for the next stage of
selection process, provided that they have secured the minimum
cut-off marks of 25 % in the screening lest.

e) The numbers of the candidates to be called for interview will be two
times, including bracketed candidates if any, of the number of
advertised posts provided that they have secured the minimum cut_
off marks of 35%.
f) The weightage of the subject knowledge test will be 87 .5%
3. Interview/Viva-Voce
a) The weightage of the interview will be 12.5%.
b) The final merit list will be prepared by adding the marks of the subject
knowledge test and interview/viva-voce.
